Important Information
- We do not guarantee service.
- Alternative service may be used in accordance with MN Court Rules and MN Statute.
- Dakota County Sheriff's Office will only serve addresses within Dakota County.
- Attempts will be made to serve a specific person, however Dakota County Sheriff's Office may choose to use substitute service if appropriate.
- All service fees are non-refundable.
- After service is attempted Dakota County Sheriff's Office will return an Affidavit to the provided email address and if appropriate e-file to MN Courts.
Not all paper types are accepted through the online submission portal. If you are attempting to serve something not on this list, please mail or drop off your documents to the Sheriff’s Office directly.
