  • You must live in Dakota County to apply for help through us.
  • If you do not live here, you will need to apply in the county where you live.
  • If you are moving from another state, you must apply for help as your case will not transfer.
  • if you receive assistance from another Minnesota county and are moving to Dakota County, you will need to ask the other county to transfer your case to Dakota County.
